BRMC, OGH shines light on monthly Star Award winners

BRADFORD, PA / OLEAN, NY - Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC) and Olean General Hospital (OGH), Kaleida Health facilities, are proud to announce the winners of the 2026 March Star Awards. This month's BRMC and OGH recipients were Erica Williams and Kristina Deibler, respectively.

Erica Williams, a client and network technician in the information technology department, joined the organization in 2024.

"Erica should be recognized for the outstanding work she does every day. She consistently demonstrates patience, kindness and professionalism in every interaction. Her depth of knowledge is evident, but what truly sets her apart is her ability to explain complex information in a clear, thoughtful way that others can easily understand," said her nomination. "Erica creates a supportive and welcoming environment, ensuring that colleagues feel comfortable asking questions and confident in the information they receive. Her expertise makes a meaningful difference. We are truly grateful for Erica and the dedication she brings to her role."

Kristina Deibler is a clerk in the health information management (HIM) department and has been at OGH since 2020.

"Kristina consistently goes above and beyond to support her coworkers, whether assisting remote staff with faxing queries to outside providers or stepping in to troubleshoot unexpected computer issues. In a recent incident, she proactively helped resolve major technical difficulties, patiently explaining each step and ensuring everything was fully operational so work could continue without disruption," read her nomination. "Her willingness to set aside her own responsibilities to help others speaks volumes about her character and commitment. Kristina is a tremendous asset to the HIM Department, and we are grateful for the expertise, kindness and reliability she brings to the team."

The Star Award is presented monthly to an employee who demonstrates outstanding performance and inspires the same in others. Staff members are nominated for exceptional customer satisfaction, continuous performance improvement, teamwork, communication, ownership/accountability and excellence through co-worker or patient nominations.

The following were also nominated for Star Awards at BRMC: Samantha Gross, RN, 3 East; and Jennifer Snyder, EVS. OGH nominees were: Samantha Fields, practice management; Riley Lippert, third floor; Alicea Nickerson, RN, emergency department; Terra Nolan, RN, second floor; Leslie Saleh, RN, OB; and William Wallace, nuclear medicine.

Star award recipients receive a chamber of commerce gift certificate, additional paid time off, a certificate of recognition and the star award parking spot.
