Alongside the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs, Conservation Volunteers New Zealand, and other diplomats of embassies in Wellington, the EU Delegation to New Zealand took part in the annual tree-planting event.

The European Union Delegation partnered with the NZIIA and CVNZ to hold the annual diplomatic tree planting event.
Participants from various embassies planted seven different species of native trees that will eventually go on to provide food and shelter for local wildlife and contribute towards the natural ecosystem of Happy Valley Park.
