Mrs. Fillmore, Bataan Memorial Primary Kindergarten Teacher Named Outstanding Elementary Educator

Port Clinton City Schools is excited to announce that Teresa Fillmore, Bataan Memorial Primary Kindergarten Teacher, was named Outstanding Elementary Teacher. This is an honor presented by CORAS (Coalition of Rural and Small Schools) at Bowling Green State University on Feb 11, 2026. Fillmore has been a caring teacher, making an impact on her students since 2010 at Port Clinton City Schools and prior to that at Bright Beginnings Preschool in Port Clinton.

Many distinguished guests honored Teresa Fillmore as Outstanding Elementary Educator including: Paul Craft - State Superintendent; Paul LaRue - State Board of Education President; Patrick Adkins, Superintendent Port Clinton City Schools; Rodney Rogers - President of BGSU; and Randy Gardner - CORAS Advocate.
