July 14, 2025 Update: Trash Collection Service Update - Work Stoppage Has Ended

We are pleased to share that the Republic Services work stoppage has officially ended. Employees have returned to work, and regular trash, recycling, and organics/green waste collection is resuming across the City of Fullerton for both residential and commercial customers.

Republic Services crews are prioritizing service in the areas with the oldest missed pickups first. If your regular collection day is Monday or Tuesday, you may experience a one- to two-day delay as they prioritize recovering missed pickups from the past few days, which is expected to be completed by the end of the week or early next week.

Street sweeping will continue to operate as scheduled. Residents with alley collection are encouraged to use street parking as needed to allow crews full access to carts.

To support efforts during this transition:

  • Notices of Violation for container placement, and
  • Street sweeping parking enforcement will be temporarily suspended through the end of this week.

We sincerely appreciate your continued patience, cooperation, and understanding.

If you have questions or need assistance, please contact Republic Services at (714) 238-3300.
