Equifax has been named to FinTech Global's annual AIFinTech100 list for the second year in a row. The global ranking, selected by a panel of industry experts and analysts, recognizes the world's most innovative AI solution providers helping financial institutions improve their operations, manage risk, and better serve consumers.
This year's recognition highlights how Equifax continues to innovate, making complex financial data easier to understand and use through conversational intelligence. Central to this approach is Equifax Ignite® AI Advisor, an Agentic AI-enabled solution launched last October that changes how lenders interact with data to make day-to-day decisions.
"Innovation is less about creating complex algorithms and more about making data understandable and useful for the people who need it," said Raghu Kulkarni, Chief AI Officer at Equifax. "With Equifax Ignite AI Advisor, we've added a straightforward, conversational interface built on Equifax Amplify AI™. Lenders can ask everyday questions in plain language to get the insights they need to move their businesses and their customers forward."
A core part of the Equifax approach to AI is balancing innovation with safety, transparency, and regulatory compliance. Equifax uses patented techniques designed to ensure that data remains secure and that AI-driven insights are fair and explainable.
Whether it is for innovation, internal development, or operational improvements, Equifax uses AI Systems in a transparent, trustworthy, fair, explainable, and secure manner to provide benefits to consumers and customers. This focus on responsible AI ensures that financial institutions can confidently make decisions that directly benefit everyday consumers.
"Financial markets change quickly, and lenders need to be able to react fast to support their customers," said Jake Osborne, SVP and GM of Fintech and Payments at Equifax. "Equifax Ignite AI Advisor acts as a helpful, always-on resource built directly into our Equifax Cloud™ platform and powered by Equifax Amplify AI™. It levels the playing field, giving smaller institutions and disrupters the same advanced data insights as major banks without needing a massive team of data scientists."
By combining this user-friendly AI interface with alternative data sources like utility payment histories, Equifax is also helping lenders safely expand credit access for individuals who may have limited traditional credit histories.
As the financial services industry continues to evolve, Equifax remains focused on developing AI tools that are transparent, fair and secure.
"We are honored by FinTech Global's recognition as we continue helping our partners make clearer, more confident decisions every day," Osborne added. "While there is a lot of theory surrounding generative AI today, Equifax is focused on delivering secure, real-world solutions that work."
