DALLAS - The district's Small Business Office invites all DFW-area businesses to the 2025 Knowledge is Power virtual conference. Starting at 10 a.m., tomorrow, April 22, attendees will have the opportunity to gain insight from successful entrepreneurs, explore business opportunities, and network with other organizations across the region.

Dallas ISD goes green for Earth Day with plastic-free initiative
Tomorrow, April 22, Dallas ISD cafeterias will go completely plastic-free in celebration of Earth Day. The district will replace 123,000 single-use plastic items with biodegradable alternatives and offer educational activities focused on environmental responsibility. Held twice a year, Plastic Free Lunch Day promotes sustainability and encourages students to reduce everyday waste.
