On April 13, Armenian Ambassador to Tehran, Grigor Hakobyan, met with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister and President of the Institute for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (IPIS), Saeed Khatibzadeh.

The prospects for the development of Armenia-Iran relations and expanding ties at the experts' level was emphasized.

Armenian Ambassador and Iranian Deputy Minister emphasized the existing cooperation between the Diplomatic School of the Armenian Foreign Ministry and the IPIS they also discussed the possibilities of organizing joint projects and exchanging experience.

The meeting also focused on exchange of archival documents as an important component of preserving historical memory and promoting scientific and academic cooperation.
