Mark your calendars and grab your red, white, and blues-Celebration of Freedom, proudly presented by Bayway Chevrolet, is back to celebrate America's 250^th Birthday! Join us on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Independence Park (3449 Pearland Parkway) for a star-spangled evening of fun, food, and fireworks.

This free, all-ages event is the perfect way to spend your Fourth of July with family, friends, and the entire Pearland community.

From high-energy live music on the H-E-B Entertainment Stage to a spectacular 18-minute fireworks finale, the night is packed with non-stop entertainment. Enjoy hands-on activities with inflatable games, strike a pose at our Glitz n Glambot digital photo booth experience with Quick Snap Events, and explore a lively craft market for tons of unique items. Kids (and kids at heart) will love specialty attractions like Whataburger's Kid Zone and face painting provided by Openland Credit Union, strolling entertainers, and, of course, all the free giveaways. This event will also feature the Forever Parks Foundation Independence Park Inclusive Playspace Project as well as the Exchange Club with a historical display of the 26 original U.S. flags. We'll kick off the night with a heartfelt Presentation of Colors, honoring the true meaning of Independence Day leading into the rest of the fun.

Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets to snag a good seat by the stage and come hungry-there'll be plenty of food trucks on site serving delicious eats for the whole family. Just a heads-up: no tents, canopies, glass containers, tobacco products, or pets are allowed in the park during the event.
