EUMAM MOZ supports the start of the School Year

Maputo, Mozambique - The European Union Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique (EUMAM MOZ) coordinated a Civil-Military Cooperation activity, marked by the donation of clothing, school supplies and oral hygiene items to the Association of Friends of Children Orphaned by AIDS (AACOSIDA), anticipating needs arising from the start of the new school year.

The EUMAM MOZ medical team delivered an awareness session on the importance of oral hygiene, complemented by a drawing activity on the same theme, during which the children were able to give free rein to their creativity.

In total, 80 sets of school supplies (notebooks, pencils, pens and erasers), as well as toothbrushes and toothpaste, were donated.

This activity was made possible thanks to the generosity of volunteers from the Mira Municipality in Portugal - "Grupo Socio Caritativo" and "Centro de Partilha da Cáritas Seixo Mira", who kindly raised the required resources for the donation of these items, and to whom EUMAM MOZ extends its sincere gratitude.
