Media Advisory: High Representative Kaja Kallas travels to Kuwait

On 5-6 October, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, will travel to Kuwait City, Kuwait.

On Sunday, she will participate in the 2nd High Level Forum on Regional Security and Cooperation. The Forum will gather the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

On Monday, the High Representative will participate in the 29th GCC-EU Joint Council and Ministerial Meeting. Following the meeting, the High Representative will hold a joint press conference at 12:00 CET with the Foreign Minister of Kuwait, and the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which will be transmitted live on EBS.

During her visit, the High Representative Kallas will meet with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, and the Foreign Minister, Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya. She will also have bilateral meetings with the Secretary General of the GCC, Jassem Albudaiwi and the Foreign Minister of Bahrain, Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani.
