American Chemistry Council Statement on Results of 2026 Congressional Elections
WASHINGTON (Nov 5, 2026) - The American Chemistry Council (ACC) and our member companies congratulate the newly elected members of Congress and look forward to working with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle to advance policies that strengthen American manufacturing, drive innovation, and support a more affordable and prosperous future for all Americans.
American success relies on American chemistry. From agriculture and national defense to healthcare, energy, and advanced manufacturing chemistry is foundational to nearly every sector of the American economy. Without chemistry, technologies across industries, and the future they promise, would remain ideas on paper.
As we head into a new year addressing priorities that matter most to the voters who elected this new class, ensuring our industry can continue to innovate, invest, and manufacture here at home must remain a priority. America's chemical manufacturers will continue to power the breakthroughs that keep our nation strong.
