This event combines Heritage Village's 50th Anniversary and the nation's 250th anniversary into a collaborative experience. The theme, "Illuminating the Past, Inspiring the Future," encourages young adults to shape how the community interacts with its collective past. Tailored to engage Gen Z in civic initiatives, the event features an interactive photo challenge where participants explore exhibits to capture stories in exchange for a special prize pack. A speakers' panel led by members of the University of Florida/IFAS Extension Youth Advisory Council will share fresh perspectives on youth advocacy and community leadership. The day also showcases student-developed display panels from the Smithsonian's Democracy in Dialogue, Virtual Exchange Program, along with a sneak peek of 50 Years of Collecting, a new exhibition highlighting the park's foundational history.
