| About the Project |
The Government has allocated €2.5m from the Shared Island Fund to the cost for construction of a purpose-built respite and therapeutic centre for children diagnosed with cancer and their families, from across the island of Ireland. This new short break respite centre will support children with cancer and their families from all across the island, complementing the existing Daisy Lodge centre in Co. Down. Update: Construction at the site in Cong, Co. Mayo began in August 2025. |
