Yankee Clipper Trains To The Game Operate Directly to the Stadium on All 3 Lines; Hudson and New Haven Lines Feature Additional Trains Before and After GamesNYC Subway Adding Extra and Trains After Each GameFans Can Also Get to the Games via Subway, Bus, and ParatransitMetropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Metro-North Railroad is operating Yankee Clipper Trains To The Game on all three lines and additional trains on the Hudson and New Haven Lines to help fans get to Yankee Stadium this week for one of the most famous rivalries in sports. The New York Yankees, holding the second-best record in the American League, will take on the Boston Red Sox in a three-game homestand with games at 7:05 p.m. Friday, 7:35 p.m. Saturday and 1:35 p.m.Sunday. In addition to regular Yankee Clipper service on the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven lines, Metro-North will operate additional trains on the Hudson and New Haven lines to accommodate increased ridership. New York City Subway will operate additional and trains following each game. The added service will supplement regularly scheduled service and provide additional capacity after the final out. On Friday, an extra Yankee Clipper train departs New Haven at 4:47 p.m., making stops at West Haven, Milford, Stratford, Bridgeport, Fairfield-Black Rock, Fairfield, Westport, South Norwalk, Darien, Noroton Heights, Stamford, Greenwich, Rye, Larchmont, and New Rochelle before arriving at Yankees-E 153 St at 6:45 p.m. An extra New Haven-bound Yankee Clipper train will take fans home following the game. On Saturday, an extra Yankee Clipper train departs New Haven at 3:10 p.m., making stops at West Haven, Milford, Stratford, Bridgeport, Fairfield-Black Rock, Fairfield, Southport, Green's Farms, Westport, East Norwalk, South Norwalk, Rowayton, Darien, Noroton Heights, and Stamford before arriving at Yankees-E 153 St at 5:05 p.m. An extra New Haven-bound Yankee Clipper train will run following the game. Also on Saturday, an extra Hudson Line Yankee Clipper train departs Poughkeepsie at 4:21 p.m., making stops at New Hamburg, Beacon, Cold Spring, Garrison, and Peekskill before arriving at Yankees-E 153 St at 5:51 p.m. An extra Poughkeepsie-bound Yankee Clipper train will run following the game. On Sunday, an extra Yankee Clipper train departs New Haven at 9:23 a.m., making stops at West Haven, Milford, Stratford, Bridgeport, Fairfield-Black Rock, Fairfield, Southport, Green's Farms, Westport, East Norwalk, South Norwalk, Rowayton, Darien, Noroton Heights, and Stamford before arriving at Yankees-E 153 St at 11:24 a.m. An extra New Haven-bound Yankee Clipper train will run following the game. Also on Sunday, an extra Hudson Line Yankee Clipper train departs Poughkeepsie at 9:40 a.m., making stops at New Hamburg, Beacon, Cold Spring, Garrison, and Peekskill before arriving at Yankees-E 153 St at 11:10 a.m. An extra Poughkeepsie-bound Yankee Clipper train will run following the game. The extra Hudson and New Haven Line trains will operate in addition to regular game-day Hudson, Harlem and New Haven Line Yankee Clipper Trains To The Game service, which operates directly to Yankees-E 153 St across the street from Yankee Stadium. Several Hudson Line trains will also make an extra stop at the stadium. Shuttle trains connecting with regularly scheduled Harlem and New Haven Line trains at Harlem-125 St will operate each day between Grand Central Terminal, Harlem-125 St and Yankees-E 153 St. Customers on regularly scheduled Harlem and New Haven Line trains can transfer at Harlem-125 St to frequent Hudson Line service for the five-minute trip to the stadium. Customers within New York City or Long Island can also get to Yankee Stadium via bus, paratransit, or by taking the Long Island Rail Road to Grand Central Madison for an easy connection to Metro-North or the subway.
