Mission Force Commander EUTM RCA strenghtens partnership

The appointment reflects the shared commitment to strengthening national security through coordinated planning, mutual trust, and close institutional cooperation. It underscores the confidence of the national authorities in the mission's leadership and its contribution to the stabilization efforts of the country.

In accepting the appointment, the Mission Force Commander reaffirmed his full support for the Government's security priorities and his dedication to working in close partnership with national defense institutions to advance peace and stability. The designation stands as a clear symbol of unity of purpose and enduring cooperation.

UTM-RCA contributes to reform the Central African Republic defence sector within the framework of a wider Security Sector Reform, in close coordination with other International Support Missions such as the EU Delegation in Bangui, the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) and the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM). The mission support the Central African authorities and is engaged in three domains: strategic advice, operational training and education.
