Propane Tanks Now Accepted at MMSD Home HazMat Drop-Offs
(Milwaukee, WI) - If you're into fishing, camping, hunting, or grilling, you now have a place to get rid of propane tanks properly, an option that has not been available for years.
If thrown in the garbage, propane tanks pose a fire and explosion risk, especially in garbage trucks with compacting equipment.
There is no additional charge for dropping off propane tanks at Home HazMat Collections, which is free to visit for Milwaukee County residents.
