Stories of Women in the Blue Economy
WIN-BIG is a project focused on boosting women's careers in the Blue Economy, and one way they are doing this is by collecting inspirational stories from women who want to share their journey. In particular, the project is looking for stories from: researchers, sailors, ocean advocates involved in blue biotechnology, and those working within marine renewables, the shipping industry, or any other blue-related sector,
The 100 stories selected will be published in a book of women's champions.
WIN-BIG develops female- and basin-tailored capacity-building to increase the participation and representation of women across EU geographies and BuE sectors and work towards a gender balanced Blue Economy.
