President Zelenskyy intervened in Hungarian election campaign also directly

President Zelenskyy has intervened in the Hungarian election campaign, against the Hungarian government, also directly, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán wrote on Facebook on Monday.

In the past week, political attacks from Ukraine have moved to the next level. President Zelenskyy has intervened in the Hungarian election campaign, against the Hungarian government, also directly.

Seemingly, the post reads. "Because when President Zelenskyy attacks me and insults me personally for not supporting Ukraine's fast-tracked EU accession, in actual fact, he questions the Hungarian people's sovereign decision," the Prime Minister wrote.

Mr Orbán recalled that in the Vote2025 vote, the Hungarian people had made it clear that they did not support Ukraine's EU membership. "It is my duty as prime minister of Hungary to enforce the Hungarian people's decision. And I will do that, again and again. Whether President Zelenskyy likes this or not," Mr Orbán wrote, concluding his post.
