Hello, neighbors! I'm Teresa Carr, and I am honored to serve as your new City Manager.
Gresham is a special place. Residents are deeply rooted in the community, care about one another and work together to make this a great place to live, work and raise a family.
It's why my husband and I chose to raise our family here. Both our sons grew up playing local sports, graduated from Gresham schools, and made many wonderful friends in this community.
For our family, Gresham is more than where we live, it's home.

The people who serve this community are special, too. Even before joining the City, I could see the dedication and pride our staff bring to serving Gresham. They care deeply about the people they serve and bring grit and resourcefulness to their work every day. I'm excited to join this team and learn from and support the people who work hard on behalf of our community.
Above all else, I'm grateful to serve the city I love. I want to thank the City Council for entrusting me with this role.
As City Manager, I look forward to working with residents, businesses, staff, and local, state and federal leaders to continue building on what makes our community such a great place to call home.
Thank you, Gresham.
