Wyoming Supreme Court oral arguments, special presentation to be held May 12 in Historic Supreme Court Room

CHEYENNE, Wyo. - The Wyoming Supreme Court will hold oral arguments in the Historic Supreme Court Room of the Wyoming State Capitol on Tuesday, May 12, with a special presentation by the Cheyenne League of Women Voters at 11:00 a.m.

This is the fourth in a series of quarterly oral arguments held in the historic room to mark America's Semiquincentennial.

The full public program includes:

  • 9:00 a.m. - Lacher v. Case et al.
  • 10:00 a.m. - Walker v. State
  • 11:00 a.m. - Special presentation by the Cheyenne League of Women Voters on the history of women in the legal profession in Wyoming and the United States
  • 1:30 p.m. - Daniels v. State

The public is invited and welcome to attend any or all portions of the day.

The Historic Supreme Court Room, the site of Wyoming's 1889 Constitutional Convention, provides a powerful and fitting setting as the Court and the League of Women Voters help commemorate 250 years since the Declaration of Independence.
