AIA: House Defense Bill Makes Generational Investment in Readiness

Arlington, Va. - Aerospace Industries Association President and CEO Eric Fanning today responded after the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee released their Fiscal Year 2027 Defense Appropriations Act, marking a critical step toward on-time funding for the U.S. defense industrial base.

"This year's House Defense Appropriations bill makes a generational investment to strengthen America's defense industrial base and sustain our military advantage for the future," Fanning said. "It provides the predictable funding and procurement commitments American aerospace and defense companies need to make long-term investments in capacity, workforce, and the innovation that drives U.S. military readiness.
