Santa Ana Inner Coastal Clean up removes 350 lbs. of trash & debris

The City of Santa Ana Public Works Agency coordinated an Inner-Coastal Cleanup Day event at Jerome Park on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Approximately 60 volunteers participated in the cleanup and removed an estimated 350 pounds of trash and debris from the Santa Ana Gardens flood control channel and adjacent alley, keeping that trash from flowing out to the ocean when it rains.

Please dispose of trash properly to help keep our City and waterways clean and beautiful! To learn more about stormwater management and tips to protect the environment, please visit https://www.santa-ana.org/stormwater-management/ or https://h2oc.org/
