Matola, Mozambique - The European Union Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique (EUMAM MOZ) was present yesterday, represented by its Force Commander, Commodore César Pires Correia, at the military ceremony marking the Day of the Armed Defense Forces of Mozambique (FADM), held in the city of Matola.

The ceremony was presided over by the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Daniel Francisco Chapo, who, in his address, emphasized the importance of the FADM in defending the country and its people, while also mention the collaboration and partnership with Rwanda, Tanzania, and the European Union.

The program included a tribute to fallen soldiers, the awarding of decorations to Veterans, foot and motorized military parades, martial arts demonstrations, and an aerial display of defense capabilities.
