DNC Chair Ken Martin on the Start of Early Voting in Virginia Arrow

As in-person early voting kicks off in Virginia today, the DNC is all hands on deck to support the Virginia Democratic Coordinated Campaign and ensure that Abigail Spanberger, Ghazala Hashmi, Jay Jones, candidates for the House of Delegates and every other Virginia Democrat running up and down the ballot emerge victorious in November. The DNC's voter protection team, in partnership with the Virginia coordinated campaign, is ensuring voters have all the information they need to make voting early easy, including reminding them to bring their photo ID to vote in person.

If Virginians have questions, they can call the voter assistance hotline at 844-482-8683 or go to IWillVote.com.

The DNC has invested heavily in the Virginia Democratic Coordinated Campaign to support candidates up and down the ballot and prepare for early voting - including through a historic $1.5 million investment announced in July, along with additional coordinated campaign distributed organizing support.

In response to the kick-off of in-person early voting in Virginia, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:

"Virginians know the stakes of this election: Democrats have a plan to lower costs for Virginia families while Republicans are running on Trump's extreme agenda that is already making Virginia even more unaffordable, from rising grocery and gas prices to skyrocketing medical and child care costs. That's why the DNC is all-in to support the Virginia Democratic coordinated campaign - investing $1.5 million to support Virginia Democrats up and down the ballot and deploying our organizing team to make sure Donald Trump and his allies are held accountable for cutting Medicaid by $1 trillion, putting rural Virginia hospitals on the brink of closure, and allowing Elon Musk and DOGE to lay off thousands of hard working Virginians. The stakes couldn't be higher, and the DNC will fight like hell to elect Virginia Democrats from now until November."
