We've spent the summer getting the Forty Acres looking its best for the start of the new academic year. With fresh flowers blooming and spaces refreshed, campus is ready to welcome our Longhorn family back for an exciting year ahead.

The work you see across campus today began in the spring as we prepared for thousands of visitors coming to the Forty Acres for commencement. As Executive Director of Grounds and Landscape Jeff McManus, a renowned leader in his field who joined the University earlier this year, said: "We want this to be one of the most special, most beautiful campuses in America."
