Cory Sellers Sentenced for Sale of Controlled Drug; Death Resulting

Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella announces that Cory Sellers, age 41, of Conway, New Hampshire, has been sentenced by the Carroll County Superior Court on one count of Sale of a Controlled Drug; Death Resulting.

The defendant pleaded guilty and was sentenced to serve 7 ½ to 15 years in the New Hampshire State Prison, with 2 years of the minimum sentence suspended upon completion of certain programming while incarcerated.

The evidence in this case established that on October 17, 2023, the defendant purchased a quantity of fentanyl from another individual, James Gray, and then provided some of that fentanyl to the victim, which ultimately caused the victim's death. James Gray previously pleaded guilty and was sentenced on March 19, 2026.

The investigation and resolution of this case was the result of collaborative efforts of the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office, the Conway Police Department, and the New Hampshire Attorney General's Drug Task Force.
