University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Named One of the Best Children’s Hospitals in the Nation

CLEVELAND - University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's has once again been recognized as one of the nation's Best Children's Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. In the 2026-2027 rankings, UH Rainbow earned a place among the top in nine pediatric specialties. UH Rainbow is the only children's hospital in Northern Ohio to earn national recognition from U.S. News for more than 30 years.

For the 2026-2027 rankings, U.S. News, together with RTI International, a North Carolina-based research firm, collected and analyzed data from 114 children's hospitals and surveyed thousands of pediatric specialists. Children's hospitals awarded a "Best" designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, compliance with established best practices, and level and quality of hospital resources directly related to patient care.
