Turner Construction Company and Clemson University celebrated a milestone at the College of Veterinary Medicine with a beam signing event, marking a historic moment in veterinary education and research in South Carolina. The Harvey S. Peeler College of Veterinary Medicine will be the state's first veterinary school and will welcome students from across South Carolina and beyond.

This project will feature seven campus buildings: The Hub will be a vibrant center where students can attend classes, study and engage with each other; Ambulatory Service Building, Clinical Teaching Building; Research Building; Central Utility Plant; Farm Animal Teaching Building; and Equine Teaching Building. With an increasing demand for veterinarians in South Carolina, this project marks a significant step forward in building a stronger community for animals, people, and the state.

"The College of Veterinary Medicine is a project that fills the Turner team with immense pride," said William Hussey, Project Executive, Turner Construction Company. "We all see the profound positive impact this campus will have on Clemson's students and the communities they will serve. We are ALL IN-committed to delivering a result that both Clemson and the Turner team can be proud of and remember."

The college will be completed in 2026, welcoming the first class of students in the fall.
