Rep. Mary Ann Santos Applauds Swearing-In of Henry County’s First African American Solicitor General
ATLANTA - State Representative Mary Ann Santos (D-McDonough) applauds the recent swearing-in of LaShonda C. Harris by Governor Brian Kemp as solicitor general of Henry County, making her the first African American to serve in this role.
"LaShonda C. Harris has consistently demonstrated the highest standards of justice, integrity and public service," said Rep. Santos. "Her swearing-in is a proud and meaningful moment for Henry County and for communities across Georgia. I am confident that she will serve with distinction, strengthen public trust in our legal system and ensure fairness for all."
Rep. Santos emphasizes that Solicitor Harris's achievement reflects the continued progress of Georgia's courts and serves as an inspiration to future generations of leaders.

ATLANTA - La representante estatal Mary Ann Santos (D-McDonough) aplaude la reciente toma de posesión de LaShonda C. Harris, realizada por el gobernador Brian Kemp, como fiscal general adjunta del condado de Henry, convirtiéndose en la primera persona afroamericana en desempeñar este cargo.
