The Christ Hospital Health Network Strengthens Leadership Team to Advance Operational Excellence and Community Impact

CINCINNATI (August 25, 2026) - The Christ Hospital Health Network is evolving its leadership structure to further strengthen operational excellence, patient experience and community impact as the healthcare landscape continues to change.

As part of that evolution, Matt Strange has been named Chief Administrative Officer, expanding his leadership responsibilities from his current role as Chief Enterprise Risk Officer, to overseeing several areas central to the delivery and experience of care. In this role, Strange will oversee patient and guest experience, pharmacy, facilities and construction, plant operations, and food and nutrition services.

Strange has been with The Christ Hospital Health Network for eight years and most recently served as Chief Enterprise Risk Officer. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati and a Juris Doctor degree from Northern Kentucky University.

The Health Network has also named Melissa Wideman Vice President of Government Affairs, Advocacy and Community Relations, strengthening its focus on the external partnerships and relationships increasingly important to advancing its mission.

Wideman will lead government relations, public policy advocacy and community engagement, working with leaders and partners throughout the region to advance relationships and policies that support access to high-quality, affordable healthcare.

Wideman brings extensive experience at the intersection of business, government and community leadership. Prior to joining The Christ Hospital, she served as Vice President of ESG Initiatives at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and previously held several government affairs and communications leadership roles at the airport. She also served as Vice President of Community Relations for Castellini Management Company.
