Norton Rose Fulbright continues to grow Paris office with the arrival of Louis-Jérôme Laisney, who reunites with his project development and finance team

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has welcomed Louis-Jérôme Laisney as a project finance partner in its Paris office.

Louis-Jérôme Laisney, who joins from Eversheds Sutherland, brings over 15 years of experience in complex project structures, deep knowledge on Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA law) and a strong track record in multi-jurisdictional transactions.

He reunites with partners Sindhura Swaminathan and Olivier Le Bars, with whom he has collaborated over the past decade, who joined Norton Rose Fulbright earlier this year with all of their associates from Eversheds Sutherland.

Louis-Jérôme further strengthens the project finance team in Paris which now consists of three partners and six associates. Together, they support their clients by seamlessly combining project development and finance expertise through an integrated, end-to-end approach to infrastructure transactions in particular in the energy, transportation, social infrastructure and new technologies sectors.

Backed by Norton Rose Fulbright's global platform, the team advises sponsors, development financial institutions and commercial lenders on large-scale and strategic projects across Africa, the Middle East and Europe with French law and English law qualified lawyers with capabilities of work across multiple jurisdictions.

With the latest addition of Louis-Jérôme, Norton Rose Fulbright's Paris office has welcomed five new partners in 2025. After project finance partners Sindhura Swaminathan and Olivier Le Bars joining in May, the firm's real estate practice announced that David Lacaze and Isabelle Augais had joined the office as partners in June.
