Fourth of July Celebration

This Independence Day, community members are encouraged to avoid illegal fireworks and choose safe, professional public displays. Remember, all consumer fireworks such as those labeled "Safe and Sane" are dangerous and illegal to use, possess, or sell in almost all of Santa Clara County.

Instead, consider viewing one of several fireworks displays throughout the county, including the 2026 Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular presented by the City of Mountain View and Live Nation on Saturday, July 4. The San Francisco Symphony will be performing "Summer of 1969: The Soundtrack of a Generation" at Shoreline Amphitheatre leading up to the fireworks.

Residents can receive discounted tickets by following the instructions and using the coupon available at MountainView.gov/FourthOfJuly.

Families can also view the fireworks (without seeing the San Francisco Symphony) from designated viewing areas within Shoreline or by taking advantage of offerings at Shoreline Sailing Lake or Shoreline Golf Links.

Traffic and parking will be impacted for the fireworks, so please follow the guidance on the Fourth of July webpage and plan accordingly.

For more options in Santa Clara County, view the 2026 Fireworks Displays flyer.
