AUSTIN, TX (January 22, 2026) - Forecasts are predicting a winter storm may bring freezing rain, sleet, and snow to a large swath of Texas beginning this Friday. Below is the current map from the National Weather Service, depicting the current Winter Storm Watch and Extreme Cold Watches.
