(Hagåtña, Guam)-Congressman Moylan is reminding Guam's students that the deadline to apply for a congressional nomination to the United States Service Academies is Wednesday, October 30, 2025, by 5:00 p.m.
Each year, members of Congress have the privilege of nominating qualified young men and women to attend the nation's prestigious institutions-the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. (Note: The U.S. Coast Guard Academy does not require a congressional nomination and accepts applications directly.)
"Serving in one of our Nation's military academies is one of the highest honors a young person can pursue," Moylan added. "Our office looks for well-rounded applicants-young men and women who not only excel academically but also show leadership, discipline, and a genuine desire to serve others."
To be considered for a nomination, students must submit a complete application packet to Congressman Moylan's District Office in Hagåtña by the October 30th deadline.
