Congressman Mackenzie Participates in Televised Town Hall

Allentown, PA - Congressman Ryan Mackenzie, representing the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos in Pennsylvania's 7th Congressional District, participated in the taping of his fourth town hall via WFMZ's Business Matters with Tony Iannelli and the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. The audience, which was balanced between Democrats and Republicans, was composed of local residents selected by the Chamber. The town hall discussion covered a wide range of topics, including foreign affairs, the budget reconciliation package, healthcare, and issues impacting small businesses.

"It's an honor to once again participate in a town hall with the people of the Lehigh Valley," said Congressman Ryan Mackenzie. "Keeping local residents up to date and answering their questions has always been a priority for me, both during my time as a Pennsylvania state representative and as a member of Congress today. We especially appreciate the opportunity to reach the people in the Lehigh Valley through formats that offer convenience to the audience and promote the kind of healthy dialogue that local residents want. I'm grateful to the teams at the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and WFMZ for a great event and I thank the audience for a substantive, respectful conversation."

During the town hall, the Congressman had the opportunity to talk about the work that he's done to address the priorities' of local residents.

"In the nine months that I have been in office, we have worked fast to deliver results for the people of the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos," said Congressman Mackenzie. "It's an honor to talk with local residents about the progress that we have made on longstanding issues, including securing our borders, delivering tax relief for working families and seniors, and providing excellent constituent services. I'll keep working to deliver real results for the people of the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos.

The town hall will air in two parts on WFMZ's Business Mattersbeginning this Monday (9/29) at 7:30 PM and continuing at the same time the following Monday. The full town hall will be available online.
