We are happy to announce that the 2026 Watercolor Contest is NOW OPEN!
The City of Pomona invites high school students to submit for this year's Watercolor Contest! The Watercolor contest is an annual event put on by the City of Pomona that was established by the Cultural Arts Commission. The contest closes on March 23, 2026, by 6PM PST. All submissions MUST be received by the deadline. Submission Location: 505 S. Garey Ave. (City Hall - Office of Economic + Business Affairs)
This year's theme is: What does "Building Joy, Action + Power" look like in Pomona? It brings honor and recognition to April as the state's designated Arts, Culture, and Creativity Month (ACCM), as established by CA for the Arts.The City will also be offering FREE workshops for contest eligible participants to join! All workshops will be paint-along that go over several different techniques, offer insight into using your watercolor pan, and provides the space to ask questions!
