On the Preservation of the Visa-Free Regime between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Moldova

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan informs that, in accordance with the reached agreement, the visa-free regime between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Moldova for holders of all types of foreign passports is maintained as of 1 April 2026.

This agreement was reached in connection with the withdrawal of the Republic of Moldova from the Agreement on Visa-Free Movement of Citizens of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States of 9 October 1992, and is aimed at creating favorable conditions for mutual travel by citizens of both countries.

Citizens of the two states may travel to the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Moldova without visas for a period not exceeding 90 days within any 180-day period.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan emphasizes that the preservation of the visa-free regime corresponds to the spirit of friendly relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Moldova and serves the mutual interests of the parties.
