Hagerty Joins Trilateral Executive Dialogue as Distinguished Guest

The forum brought together leaders in government and business from the United States, South Korea, and Japan to advance breakthroughs in national security, economic prosperity, energy security, and technology

WASHINGTON-Last week, United States Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations and Banking committees and former U.S. Ambassador to Japan, participated as a special guest in the fourth annual Trilateral Executive Dialogue organized by the 21st Century Policy Institute and held at the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream. Over the course of two days, Hagerty led and facilitated discussions with senior Trump Administration officials, foreign dignitaries, and top business executives from the technology, energy, and finance sectors.

"It was an honor to participate in the fourth annual Executive Dialogue," said Hagerty. "America's alliances with Japan and South Korea are among the most consequential in the world. I've dedicated much of my life to deepening these ties to advance U.S. national security and economic interests, and this forum continues to deepen our relationships in finance, energy, and technology. Japan and South Korea are two of America's most important investors, creating significant American jobs as they build and operate businesses and factories at the leading edge of innovation right here at home."

The Trilateral Executive Dialogue has a mission to bring industry leaders and government policymakers together to strengthen multi-sector alliances among the three nations.

"The caliber of discussion was immensely impressive," Hagerty added. "I believe we made great progress in understanding how America, Japan, and South Korea can continue our strategic partnership to bring forth powerful innovations in our economies, our national and international security, and technology."

Hagerty appeared as a featured guest alongside senior Trump Administration officials as well as private sector guests, including:
-Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent
-Secretary of Energy Chris Wright
-United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer
-Acting Secretary of the Army Adam Telle
-Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of Nvidia

Topics of discussion included:
-Finance, Capital and Strategic Investment
-Energy and Critical Materials
-Technology, Telecom, Semiconductors, and Cybersecurity
-Trade, Logistics, Industrial, and Advanced Manufacturing
