BALTIMORE, MD - OCT. 21, 2026 - Constellation (Nasdaq: CEG) today announced it will provide $2.1 million in grant funding in support of 64 locally-led environmental stewardship projects across the communities it serves. Through the company's third annual Constellation Leading Environmental Accelerators Network (CLEAN) Awards, the Constellation Foundation will back efforts ranging from restoring native habitats and protecting clean water, to rehabilitating wildlife, planting trees and pollinator gardens, and expanding environmental education.
This year's CLEAN Environment Awards range from $5,000 to $125,000 and are focused in local communities in California, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas - all states where Constellation operates power generation facilities. To date, the grant program has awarded a combined $4.2 million to more than 100 nonprofit projects.
"Some of the most meaningful environmental work happens at the local level, led by organizations that understand the needs of their respective communities best," said David Dardis, senior executive vice president and chief external affairs and growth officer at Constellation as well as president and chair of the Constellation Foundation. "The CLEAN Environment Awards put resources directly behind these organizations working tirelessly to preserve biodiversity and build stronger communities. We are proud to be the nation's largest producer of clean, reliable energy and we are committed to the ongoing work of our community partners that share our goals and values."
For more than 70 years, the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy has worked to conserve and protect the natural resources of Perkiomen Creek Watershed, which covers about 375 square miles in southeastern Pennsylvania - including the land and waterways surrounding Constellation's Limerick Clean Energy Center. The organization's Sourcewater Protection Program, which will receive grant funding from Constellation for the second consecutive year, focuses on removing harmful waste from waterways, combating invasive species, and restoring critical land and water resources throughout the watershed.
"Thanks to support from Constellation's CLEAN Environment Awards, we've achieved record-breaking levels of community engagement and environmental stewardship for our Sourcewater Protection Program - and we're poised to continue making a significant impact in the months ahead," said Ryan Beltz, executive director, Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy. "Constellation continues to help us empower thousands of members in our community to take action and play a central role in initiatives that directly strengthen the health and resilience of the watershed."
