TRT is elected as a Vice-Chair of the new EBU expert Group

The new EBU Expert Group on International Relations was officially established during the International Relations Plenary in Bucharest - a dynamic two-day gathering of international relations professionals from across EBU membership. The plenary provided a valuable platform to explore strategic challenges and emerging opportunities in the field, including evolving media regulations, cross-border collaboration, co-productions, and content exchange.

Mustafa Saritaş, Head of TRT International Relations, was elected Vice-Chair alongside two other colleagues. As TRT is a member of both the ABU and EBU, this development offers an excellent opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the two sister unions.

Alongside the formation of the Expert Group, the plenary highlighted recent successful cross-border initiatives and shared best practices, emphasising the growing importance of international engagement in public service media.
