Celebrate Story Time for Little Historians at the Alexandria Black History Museum - Tomorrow!
Join Oumie this Saturday, October 11th at 10 a.m.at the Alexandria Black History Museum! This month, we'll remember two inspiring leaders-Justice Thurgood Marshalland Archbishop Desmond Tutu-and then dive into a pair of spooky-but-fun folktales:
Bimwili and the Zimwe and Wiley and the Hairy Man.
Perfect for ages 5-10, Storytime mixes history, culture, and imagination-where learning is always an adventure!
Storytime Craft Time: African Mask History Craft Project!
Art Literacy Concepts:
- Historical cultural ideas
- Planning, composition, and design arrangements
- Fine motor development by hand constructing
Story Time takes place in the Museum's Parker-Gray Gallery and brings important history to life through engaging stories and creative activities.
Story Time for Little Historians happens every second Saturday of the month, so mark your calendar and make it a monthly tradition!
