DALLAS - Dallas ISD will host a parent education forum about mental health at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 18, at the Barbara Mann DAEP at H.B. Bell Buckner building. The event will cover topics such as online safety, youth substance misuse, and how to support children experiencing anxiety and depression. Families will also have the opportunity to connect with district mental health experts and explore available resources.
VISUALS: Conrad H-TECH sets the standard for college readiness
At Emmett J. Conrad High School, the H-TECH program is preparing students for careers by providing them early access to higher education. The program, recognized as Distinguished by the Texas Education Agency, produced 103 associate degree graduates during the 2024-2025 school year. Students graduate with both high school and college credit, with some earning up to 60 college credits. The program offers significant benefits, such as savings in higher education, increased scholarship opportunities, and strong peer support.
