Indonesia's Deputy Minister of Environment, Diaz Hendropriyono, who attended the event, expressed appreciation for the efforts of businesses and communities in creating sustainable innovations.
"I welcome this event because ENSIA is an important complement to the Company Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management (PROPER) that we run. PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) plays a role in supporting PROPER assessments by introducing an integrated methodology that helps companies comprehensively and measurably meet environmental standards. The theme of ENSIA 2025 also aligns with PROPER's orientation, which places economic, ecological, and social interests equally as the main pillars of sustainability," said Diaz Hendropriyono.
He added that the enthusiasm of this year's participants proves that more stakeholders are paying attention to social and environmental innovation.
"Innovation is no longer just an option, but the future of industry for sustainable growth. It has become a key strategy to ensure competitiveness and business resilience in the future," he continued.
PT Timah Tbk's Human Resources Director, Andi Seto Ghadista Asapa, stated that PT Timah Tbk and its subsidiaries remain committed to carrying out sustainable mining by applying Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in their business processes.
