The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Service Road 728 in Seymour. This project is scheduled to occur on Sunday, June 14 and be completed on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The project 0174-0488CN "AA" consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.88-mile segment of Service Road 728 in Seymour from the Derby Ave Pump Station to Route 313. This project is scheduled to begin milling by Black and Boucher on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The resurfacing segment of this project by O&G Industries is anticipated to begin on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures of Service Road 728 from the Derby Ave Pump Station to Route 313 on June 14 and June 17, 2026. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday-Thursday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
