Celebrate Local Heroes with the Bellflower Honors Program

The City of Bellflower continues to honor local military service members through the Bellflower Honors Program, an initiative designed to recognize past and present military personnel while strengthening community pride and remembrance.

Celebrate the service and sacrifice of Bellflower's veterans and active-duty members. Families and friends can honor loved ones with a street pole banner proudly displayed along Flower Street and Alondra Boulevard, showcasing local service members for one year before being returned to their families as a keepsake. The cost is $200 per banner, which includes installation.

Submit a request and payment by Thursday, May 7. This program is open to past and present military personnel with ties to Bellflower. Approved banners will be installed by Memorial Day.

The Bellflower Honors Program creates a visible and lasting tribute to those who have served, ensuring their contributions remain part of the community's story. Residents can participate in the Bellflower Honors Program through the application on the City's website. For more information, contact Mike Machado at (562) 804-1424, ext. 2258.
