The Edgewater Park Sewerage Authority recently closed on a $2,200,000 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to modernize critical wastewater infrastructure. The financing will eliminate one outdated pump station and upgrade two others within the township. These three stations are the oldest in the system, and the improvements will not only extend the useful life of the assets but also significantly reduce long-term operations and maintenance costs. By streamlining the system and enhancing reliability, this project represents an important investment in protecting public health, supporting environmental sustainability, and keeping costs stable for local ratepayers.
