IIT JAM 2027 Registration Last Date Today: Will IIT Kharagpur Extend JOAPS Deadline?The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur is ending the online application process for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (IIT JAM 2027) today, October 19, 2026 . Candidates who have not yet submitted their application forms must complete the process immediately on the official JOAPS portal (jam.iitkgp.ac.in ) before the midnight deadline.

Since the organizing committee has already extended the registration deadline once from its initial schedule, no further extension in the IIT JAM 2027 application last date is expected. Candidates are strongly advised not to wait till the last moment to avoid server delays or transaction errors.

As per the official notification, the national-level entrance exam is scheduled for February 14, 2027 (Sunday) in two sessions:

• Forenoon Session (FN 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM): Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), and Mathematics (MA)

• Afternoon Session (AN 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM): Biotechnology (BT), Economics (EN), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH)

Candidates can choose to appear for either one or two test papers, provided both subjects are not placed in the same exam session.

IIT JAM 2027 Application Form: What Steps Follow After Registration?

Once the registration window closes tonight, IIT Kharagpur will move ahead with the remaining schedule. Candidates who registered successfully will get access to the application form correction window tentatively from November 10, 2026, allowing them to edit permissible details like category or exam centers if required.

Aspirants who complete their submission today should cross-check their payment confirmation status on JOAPS and save a printed copy of the submitted form for future reference.
