Sidewalk closure and bus stop relocation for ramp reconstruction at East Broadway and South Second Street, Feb. 23-25

(COLUMBIA, MO)- Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, Watson Concrete, contractors for the City of Columbia Public Works department, will reconstruct the sidewalk ramp at the corner of East Broadway and South Second Street.

The work will require a temporary sidewalk closure at the intersection. Signs will direct pedestrians to cross at Providence Road or Garth Avenue.

The Go COMO Red Route bus stop at East Broadway and South Second Street will be temporarily relocated approximately 40 feet west of its current location. Riders are encouraged to check the messages tab of the ETA SPOT app or Go COMO social media channels for updates.

Work is expected to be completed and the sidewalk reopened by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, weather permitting.
