MARIETTA, GA - The award-winning and fan-favorite event, Coffee, Campfires, and Cryptids, is back and more mysterious than ever! Join the City of Marietta's Parks, Recreation & Facilities Department for an evening of myths, legends, and cryptic creatures on Friday, September 12, 2025, beginning at 6:00 PM in Atherton Square Park (4 Depot Street, Marietta, GA 30060).

Set against the cozy backdrop of a glowing campfire, this unique event invites attendees to dive into the strange and unexplained-from Bigfoot sightings in North Georgia to tales of sea monsters lurking near Savannah. Bring your curiosity, your favorite tall tales, and a warm drink as we explore local lore, swap stories, and celebrate the mysterious side of Georgia folklore.

This is a free, family-friendly event, and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and a sense of adventure.
