China: China Updates Administrative Procedures for Plant Germplasm Exports
On July 14, 2026, China's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA), National Forestry and Grassland Administration (NFGA), and General Administration of Customs (GACC) jointly issued Announcement No. 1031 which updated export procedures for crop, forestry and grassland germplasm resources, effective August 1, 2026. Among other changes, exporters may now use the China International Trade Single Window to monitor the status of export approval documents.
